Over the last 5 decades, Information Technology has seen an exponential growth that remains a black box to senior executives.  This Pandora's box is even more important today with the constant move towards services  such as Cloud computing that fall outside of the control of Senior managers, CEOs, CFOs, and Board of Directors.

Information is and will continue to be a worldwide currency.  Every month, billions of dollars are requested and approved for IT operations without an intimate knowledge of the adequacy of these investments with regards to a balance between business need and risk.  Furthermore, most investments in IT swell to larger amounts in order to provide an adequately mature solution without providing reliable feedback to senior management.

Why?....  How do we bring back IT to be a service provider to the business instead of the other way around?
